Overpriced tourist trap with friendly staff but a scammy concept. The restaurant markets itself around “Wagyu” and “Kobe” but the value for money is terrible, and the pricing feels designed to squeeze tourists rather than offer a good dining experience. The chef was genuinely friendly and did a good job with the tableside cooking, but the business model ruins it. The menu is heavily overpriced for the quality and portion sizes, and they sneak in extra charges wherever possible. On top of the already high prices, they attempted to add an additional service charge and even charged for plain white rice, which is ridiculous at these price levels. There are far better and more honest places in Tokyo to enjoy proper Wagyu/Kobe beef. Would not recommend unless you are comfortable overpaying for a very tourist-oriented experience.
